Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has stated that the ML-1 railway project will serve as a major milestone in the development of the province's southern districts. He made these remarks during a meeting with Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi held in Islamabad.

The ML-1 railway project is part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and is expected to modernize Pakistan's railway infrastructure, enhancing connectivity and trade efficiency across the country.
