Sindh CM Urges Citizens to Quit Tobacco for Healthier Society

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has called upon the citizens to steer clear of tobacco and contribute towards building a healthier society. In his message on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, he described tobacco as a silent killer. Murad emphasized that shielding the youth from tobacco use is a collective duty of the government, parents, teachers, and society at large. The Sindh government remains steadfast in its commitment to intensify awareness campaigns, enforce anti-smoking laws, and promote healthy lifestyles to achieve a tobacco-free future, he added.

In a separate development, Rescue 1122 attended to 99 emergencies during the three days of Eid-ul-Azha in Dera Ismail Khan.
