Lil Wayne Apologizes for Maine No-Show, Reschedules Concert

Lil Wayne has issued an apology to fans after failing to appear at his scheduled concert in Bangor, Maine, on Tuesday night. The performance, which was the opening date of the extended 20 Years of Carter Classics tour, has now been rescheduled for July 28.

Concert No-Show Leaves Fans Disappointed

The rapper was a no-show at the Maine Savings Amphitheater on July 22. Fans waited as opening act 2 Chainz completed his set, but around 11 p.m., organizers informed the crowd that the concert had ended and Lil Wayne would not be performing. No official explanation was provided at the venue for the rapper's absence.

Many attendees had traveled long distances for the show. Rita Sack, who drove over six hours from Nova Scotia, told local television station Wabi, "Well, I came here for Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, and it was the most terrible experience. We drove over six hours to be here." She expressed frustration that no apology was given on the night, adding, "We paid for Lil Wayne. Like, the least you can do is come out for a minute, apologize, you know? Like, just take the moment and be like, hey guys, sorry, not feeling it, feeling a little sick."
