A tragic incident occurred in Quetta's Khaliq Shaheed area along Link Road late Sunday night, where a wall collapse claimed the lives of two young brothers and left a third critically injured. The victims were identified as 15-year-old Zubair, son of Khuda Nazar, and his 10-year-old brother Talha, both belonging to the Barich tribe and residents of Muhammad Shahi Town. Their younger brother, who was also playing with them, sustained severe injuries and remains in critical condition.
Eyewitness Accounts
According to eyewitnesses, the three brothers were playing in the area when a large section of the wall suddenly collapsed on them without any warning. Local residents quickly responded, rushing to the scene and pulling the children out from under the debris. Tragically, Zubair and Talha were declared dead at the site, while the third brother was immediately transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Official Confirmation
SSP Saryab confirmed the incident, stating that two children died and one was injured in the wall collapse. Station House Officer (SHO) Ijaz Mahmood verified the identities of the victims and confirmed that all three were brothers. The incident has left the local community in shock, as the wall collapse occurred without any prior signs of instability.
