Details of the Fatalities
The series of shootings occurred in various areas of Karachi, highlighting public safety and security concerns. A 35-year-old man, identified as Shakeel, was shot dead near Banaras Aligarh Chappal Market. In another incident, 32-year-old Yasin lost his life after unidentified attackers opened fire near Qasba Morr in Orangi Town. A third victim, 45-year-old Shahid, was killed in a shooting near Safoora Sameera Chowk.
Injuries Reported Across the City
Eight people sustained injuries in separate firing incidents carried out by unidentified assailants. Yasir was wounded in Orangi Town Sector, while 65-year-old Abdullah was injured in Orangi Town Sector 7A. Five-year-old Irfan sustained injuries in North Karachi. A woman identified as Maliar Bibi was injured in North Karachi's Rashidabad area. Another man was wounded in Sohrab Goth B. In Azam Basti, Mahmudabad, 40-year-old Irshad Bibi suffered injuries after unidentified individuals opened fire. Ten-year-old Shushant was injured in Shah Latif, while 17-year-old Aafia was wounded in Korangi's Bilal Colony.
Police Response and Investigation
Police shifted both the deceased and the injured to hospitals and launched investigations into the incidents. Authorities are working to identify and arrest those involved in the shootings.
