QUETTA: In a major breakthrough, police have arrested the primary suspects involved in the brutal sexual assault case of a young man in the Qilla Safiullah area within 24 hours, authorities confirmed on Sunday. Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, announced that the arrests were made on the direct orders of Chief Minister Balochistan, who had taken serious notice of the heinous crime and directed law enforcement to apprehend the culprits without delay.

"Following the Chief Minister's clear instructions, the main accused have been arrested within 24 hours. Raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accomplices involved in this barbaric act," Rind stated. He further emphasized that the accused would be brought to justice and made to face the full force of the law.

Government's Stance on the Crime

"The Balochistan government stands in complete solidarity with the victim's family in their time of grief and anguish. Elements involved in such despicable crimes do not deserve any leniency. Such characters in our society are accountable, and through effective legal proceedings, they will be brought to their deserved end," he added. The case had drawn widespread condemnation across the province.

Chief Minister Balochistan had taken immediate notice of the incident, ordering law enforcement agencies to ensure swift action. The police response was prompt, leading to the arrests within a day.
