Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police officers and personnel performed security duties at mosques and Imambargahs across the federal capital on Friday to ensure the safety of worshippers and maintain a peaceful environment.
Comprehensive Security Arrangements
An official stated on Friday that comprehensive security arrangements were implemented at mosques and Imambargahs throughout the district in view of Friday prayers and prevailing security requirements. Police personnel remained deployed at entry and exit points, while security measures were enhanced to facilitate worshippers and prevent any untoward incident.
Supervision and Coordination
Officers supervised security arrangements in their respective areas and ensured strict implementation of prescribed security protocols. The official said Islamabad Police remained vigilant throughout the day and maintained close coordination with mosque and Imambargah administrations to ensure smooth conduct of religious activities.
