Former General Secretary of the Peshawar High Court Bar and renowned lawyer Advocate Imran Khan Matta met with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, at the latter's residence in Peshawar Cantonment. During the meeting, Advocate Imran Khan Matta formally joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N), accompanied by his family and thousands of his supporters.
Formal Welcoming Ceremony
Engineer Amir Muqam welcomed Advocate Imran Khan Matta into the party by presenting him with the party cap, congratulated him on joining the PML-N, and extended a warm welcome. The event highlighted the party's outreach to legal professionals.
Tribute to the Legal Community
Amir Muqam paid tribute to the legal community, stating that lawyers have always played a pivotal role in promoting the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law. He emphasized the importance of their contribution to democratic processes.
Advocate Matta's Commitment
Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Imran Khan Matta expressed his complete confidence in the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (N). He said that under the leadership of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Engineer Amir Muqam, he would play a full and active role in advancing the party’s vision, manifesto, and mission of public service.
