Two Arrested for Alleged Abuse of Minor Boy in Attock

Police in Attock have apprehended two individuals accused of abusing a minor boy, according to officials. The arrests were made within the jurisdiction of Attock Saddar Police Station.

Details of the Incident

SHO Attock Saddar Police Station Taimoor Khan Alizai stated on Monday that a case was registered under relevant legal sections based on the complaint of the victim's father. Both suspects are now in custody, and further investigations are proceeding.

According to police reports, the minor was allegedly lured to a secluded location by the accused, identified as Musawar Waheed and Hassan, both residents of village Akhori. The complainant alleged that the suspects subjected the child to abuse and subsequently threatened him with severe consequences if he disclosed the incident.

Police Response

Police confirmed that the family approached authorities after the accused continued to intimidate the victim. Acting swiftly, investigators arrested both suspects and placed them in custody for interrogation. The child was also referred for a medical examination.

In a separate incident, Hasanabdal Saddar Police arrested a man named Muhammad Akhtar, a resident of Pind Malyaran, for allegedly making a fake call to Rescue 15.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Inspector General of Police met with a Hindu Panchayat delegation to discuss concerns of the minority community.
