Lahore Police have apprehended a suspect involved in stealing mobile phones from metro bus stations and hospitals. According to officials, the Naseerabad police arrested the suspect, identified as Sufyan, at Ittefaq Metro Station. The suspect would steal mobile phones from the pockets of patients' relatives by taking advantage of the crowded conditions in hospitals.
Details of the Thefts
Investigations reveal that Sufyan had stolen six mobile phones over the past three days from the metro bus, Children's Hospital, and Gulab Devi Hospital. The police stated that the suspect would dismantle the stolen phones and sell the parts.
Recovery and Ongoing Investigation
SP Model Town Asad Ali confirmed that six stolen mobile phones have been recovered from Sufyan's possession. Further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend his accomplices and to trace other incidents linked to him.
