RAWALPINDI: Four people were injured when a vehicle plunged into a nullah near Pirwadhai Mor, while a man lost his life in a separate train accident at Rawalpindi Railway Station on Monday, according to Rescue 1122.
Vehicle Accident
A Rescue 1122 spokesperson stated that a Suzuki Cultus carrying four passengers went out of control due to overspeeding and fell into a nullah in front of Turbo CNG on IJP Road near Pirwadhai Mor. The injured were immediately rescued and shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Train Accident
In a separate incident, a man was killed in a train accident at Platform No. 3 of Rawalpindi Railway Station. Rescue 1122 teams, accompanied by an ambulance and a motorized rescue service unit, rushed to the scene. However, the victim had succumbed to his injuries before help could arrive.
Aftermath
Following the completion of necessary formalities, rescue officials handed over the body to the relevant authorities. Further investigations into both incidents are underway.
