Pakistan Weather: Hot, Dry with Thunderstorms in Upper Regions

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country for today, with high humidity expected to make conditions feel even hotter, particularly in the plains. The Met Office said rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms is likely in some upper regions and a few districts of Punjab during the evening and night.

Islamabad and Punjab Weather

According to the PMD, Islamabad and its surrounding areas will experience hot and humid weather. Authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight during the day. Most districts of Punjab are also expected to remain hot and dry, with humid conditions prevailing in the plains. However, isolated areas of Sialkot and Narowal may receive rain along with gusty winds, dust storms and thunderstorms during the night.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh

Most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue to experience hot and dry weather, while lowland districts are likely to face intense humidity. Upper districts, however, may witness partly cloudy skies after noon. In Sindh, hot and dry conditions combined with high humidity are expected to persist, while coastal areas are likely to remain partly cloudy.
