Punjab Information and Culture Minister Azma Bokhari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing of Public TV cameraman Salman Alvi, describing his death as a great loss to the journalistic community.
Condolence Message Issued
In a condolence message issued on Sunday, Azma Bokhari paid tribute to the late media professional, saying that Salman Alvi was a hardworking, courteous and highly respected cameraman who performed his professional responsibilities with dedication, honesty and commitment throughout his career.
The minister said she was deeply saddened by the news of his demise and noted that his valuable contributions to journalism would always be remembered and appreciated. She added that Salman Alvi earned respect among his colleagues and within the media fraternity through his professionalism and devotion to duty.

Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, colleagues and members of the media community, Azma Bokhari prayed that Almighty Allah grant eternal peace to the departed soul and provide courage and patience to his loved ones to bear this irreparable loss.
The information minister further said that the Punjab government shares the grief of Salman Alvi’s family and stands firmly with them during this difficult time. She assured that the services rendered by the late cameraman for journalism and the media industry would remain a lasting part of his legacy.
