KP Paramedical Class-IV Staff Elects New Provincial Cabinet

The Provincial Paramedical Class-IV Employees Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced its new provincial cabinet following a General Council meeting attended by delegates, office-bearers, and representatives of paramedical staff from across the province. The meeting was chaired by outgoing association president Muhammad Waris Khan, who presided over deliberations regarding the future organizational structure and welfare agenda of the association. Following the approval of a resolution by the General Council, members unanimously elected a new provincial cabinet to lead the organization and represent the interests of Class-IV employees working in the health sector across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

New Leadership and Representation

According to participants, the newly-elected cabinet reflects representation from various districts of the province, with the objective of ensuring balanced participation and effective advocacy for employees serving in different regions. Among the notable appointments, Malik Shaukat Ali Khan, a senior leader of Class-IV employees from Shangla district, was elected Provincial Vice President for Malakand Division. His election was widely welcomed by employees and union representatives from Shangla and other districts of Malakand Division, who described the development as a significant achievement for the district and recognition of his longstanding services to the welfare of paramedical employees.

Key Appointments

The newly-elected provincial cabinet comprises Haji Zia-ur-Rehman as Provincial President, Tariq Mahmood Shah as Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hussain and Muhammad Imran Khalid as Vice Presidents, Dilawar Khan as General Secretary, Mian Niaz Ahmad as Additional General Secretary, Muftiullah as Joint Secretary, Sohail Yousaf as Finance Secretary, Mahmood Yousafzai as Press Secretary, Arif Zaman as Assistant Secretary, and Ibrahim Khan as Office Secretary. The council also elected Saif-ur-Rehman as Chairman of the Union at Lady Reading Hospital, Muhammad Saeed Bahar Khan as Chairman of District Headquarters Hospital Swat, while Shaukat Ali and Niaz Ahmad Khan Yousafzai were elected as councillors for DHQ Hospital Swat. Mustafa Khan was elected Joint Secretary for Swat, and Mubeenullah was chosen as Provincial Vice President for Finance and Audit.

Addressing the gathering, speakers congratulated the newly-elected office-bearers and expressed confidence that the new leadership would play an active role in safeguarding the rights of Class-IV paramedical employees, addressing their professional concerns, and strengthening the organizational structure of the association across the province. The speakers emphasized that paramedical support staff constitute an essential component of the healthcare system and perform vital duties in hospitals and health facilities. They pledged that the association would continue to raise employees’ concerns at every appropriate forum and strive for improved service conditions, welfare measures, and professional recognition.
