Yango Reveals 2025 Pakistan Trends: Alto Top Car, 1,933 Rides by One User
Yango 2025 Pakistan Trends: Alto Most Booked, Key Insights

As 2025 drew to a close, Yango Ride, a key service of the international Yango Group, released a comprehensive report detailing the most significant mobility and delivery trends that shaped Pakistan over the year. The data, drawn from millions of trips across the country, highlights consumer preferences, popular destinations, and unique user behaviors that are redefining how people and goods move in urban centers.

Top Rides and Rider Habits in 2025

The data reveals clear favorites among Pakistani commuters. The Suzuki Alto emerged as the most booked vehicle on the Yango platform throughout 2025. Its compact size, fuel efficiency, and suitability for city driving made it the preferred choice for thousands of daily journeys.

When it came to choosing a service tier, the Economy tariff was the undisputed king, proving that reliable and budget-friendly rides are the cornerstone of everyday travel for the majority of users. The commitment of some riders was extraordinary, with the platform's most frequent user completing a staggering 1,933 trips in a single year—an average of more than five rides every day.

Shopping and transit hubs dominated as the most frequented destinations. The top pickup and drop-off points included:

  • Lucky One Mall in Karachi
  • Niazi Adda Bus Stop in Lahore
  • Emporium Mall in Lahore
  • Faizabad Bus Station in Rawalpindi

With so many trips, items were inevitably left behind. The most commonly forgotten belongings in Yango rides were shopping bags (32%), mobile phones (31%), and handbags (10%). More unusual lost items included a drill machine, a cricket bat, a rubab, a portable neck fan, a baby milk bottle, a bucket of fried chicken wings, and a canister of cooking oil.

Delivery Dynamics and Driver Achievements

The trends extended beyond passenger transport into the movement of goods through Yango Delivery. The data shows that furniture was the most frequently moved item using the Cargo option. Importantly, the service has become a vital tool for commerce, with over 20% of all Yango Delivery orders being booked by small and medium businesses (SMBs).

For the driver partners powering the platform, 2025 was a year of realized dreams. Through Yango's Driver Dreams initiatives, nine drivers saw their wishes fulfilled. Notably, three drivers earned the opportunity to perform Umrah with their families. The company also distributed more than 115 gifts through raffles and competitions, including a car, motorcycles, Umrah tickets, and various home appliances and electronics.

Shaping Pakistan's Mobility Future

Commenting on the trends, Miral Sharif, Country Head for Yango Pakistan, stated that the company is proud to contribute to Pakistan's evolving urban mobility landscape. The focus remains on making transportation more convenient, safe, and accessible, enabling seamless movement for daily commutes, family trips, and important engagements.

Yango continues to channel investments into technology and service enhancements, prioritizing faster response times, robust safety measures for both drivers and passengers, and a frictionless user experience. Through its SuperApp vision, Yango Ride is actively shaping an efficient, safe, and effortless future for the movement of people and goods across Pakistan.
