GuliKit has officially launched a new version of its TV Docking Station that now supports the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the original Switch and OLED models. Announced today after a teaser on X last week, the dock is priced at $29.99 and available through GuliKit retailers including Amazon.
Design and Compatibility
The dock retains a compact design resembling a tiny streaming box, featuring a magnetic dust cover that flips over to serve as a support for a docked Switch. It weighs just 105 grams, significantly lighter than Nintendo’s official Switch 2 dock at 381 grams, and measures 3.4 inches on each side with a height under one inch. The dock uses the Switch 2’s included AC adapter and is designed to hold the console even when it’s in a protective case.
Key Features and Ports
On the underside, a sliding switch raises the USB-C connector to accommodate most cases. The rear panel includes an HDMI port supporting 4K at 60Hz, 2K at 120Hz, and 1080p at 240Hz—far exceeding the Switch 2’s native output capabilities. A USB-C port handles power delivery, while a USB-A port allows charging of accessories like controllers. A dedicated button toggles between TV Docking Mode, which sends video to a TV, and Desktop Charging Mode, enabling play on the Switch’s own screen while charging.
Pricing and Competition
At $29.99, GuliKit’s dock undercuts competitors such as Jsaux’s OmniCentro Dock ($46) and Genki’s Covert Dock 3 ($69.99), while adding unique functionality like the adjustable USB-C connector and dual-mode operation. According to GuliKit, the dock is available starting today.
