West Zone Teams Dominate Early Encounters
At the Cricket Centre in Model Town, West Zone Whites secured a narrow two-wicket victory over East Zone Whites. They successfully chased down a target of 179 runs. The match-winner was Khizar Malik, who earned the man of the match award for his brilliant bowling spell, taking four crucial wickets.
Over at the Al-Bilal Cricket Ground, West Zone Reds continued the zone's winning momentum with a convincing seven-wicket win against East Zone Reds. The star of the show was Dawood Tauqeer Rana, whose elegant 92-run knock guided his team to victory and rightfully earned him the player of the match honour.
Centuries and Big Wins Highlight the Day
The third match witnessed an explosive batting performance at Township Whites. North Zone Reds defeated West Zone Greens by a massive margin of 82 runs. The foundation of this win was laid by Shafiullah, who played a breathtaking innings of 155 runs, a performance that made him the undisputed man of the match.
At the Ittefaq LRCA Ground, West Zone Blues recorded a comprehensive eight-wicket triumph over North Zone Blues. The chase was masterfully led by Abdul Rafi, who remained unbeaten on a magnificent 115 runs to claim the player of the match award.
North Zone and Kaizen Teams Share the Spoils
In the fifth fixture at New Ittefaq Faisal Town, North Zone Whites emerged victorious against Kaizen Blues, winning by 34 runs. The key contributor was Afham Ali Noor, who scored a fine 102 runs and was adjudged man of the match for his century.
The final match of the day at Pindi Gymkhana Model Town saw Kaizen Whites defeat North Zone Greens by 19 runs. The bowling attack was decisive, with Ali Hamza and Abdullah Hadi sharing the players of the match award after each took an impressive four wickets to seal the win for their team.
