The ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ T20 cricket match was organized at the National Cricket Stadium, F-7, Islamabad, as part of the Bunyan-un-Marsoos initiative. The event was held under the patronage of Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar attended as the chief guest and actively participated in the match as a player, reflecting the government’s commitment to engaging with and encouraging the country’s youth through sports.
Guest of Honour and Participants
Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Sweet Home, Zamurrad Khan, attended the opening ceremony as the guest of honour along with students from Pakistan Sweet Home Cadet College. Addressing participants and players, Zamurrad Khan emphasized the importance of sports alongside education in the healthy development of young people. He said that the youth are the future of both the nation and society, and witnessing energetic, healthy, and motivated young individuals provides confidence that the country’s future rests in capable and determined hands.

Zamurrad Khan praised Rana Mashhood for his services and dedication to the development and empowerment of Pakistani youth through the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. He noted that the Maarka-e-Haq T20 match, contested between a Celebrity Team and a Youth Team, reflected the government’s strong commitment to youth engagement. He added that organizing such events at the national level demonstrates solidarity between the government, the people, and the Armed Forces of Pakistan, while promoting positive activities for young people.

Zamurrad described the participation of Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar as a player in the match as a strong symbol of the government’s close connection with the youth.
