ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Azha greetings to the people of Pakistan and the wider Muslim Ummah, urging the nation to uphold the values of sacrifice, unity, compassion, and justice.
Message of Sacrifice and Unity
In a message, the PPP chairman said Eid-ul-Azha conveys the timeless message that sacrifice gains true meaning only when it is dedicated to justice, humanity, and the collective welfare of society. “This sacred occasion reminds us that nations are built not on hatred and division, but on compassion, equality, sacrifice, and standing united in difficult times,” Bilawal stated.
Tribute to Martyrs and Security Forces
The PPP chairman paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and all those who have sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism and extremism. He also honored the martyrs who laid down their lives for democracy, peace, and the dignity of the people.
Prayers for Peace and Stability
Bilawal prayed that the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha would usher in lasting peace, stability, and harmony across the world. He reaffirmed solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine, expressing hope that they would soon witness peace, justice, and freedom in their lands.
He further prayed that the Almighty bless Pakistan with peace, prosperity, democratic strength, and economic stability, while granting the nation unity and wisdom to overcome its challenges.
