Bahawalnagar Police Arrest 286 Suspects in May Crackdown

Bahawalnagar Police, under the leadership of District Police Officer Muhammad Imran, have conducted successful operations against criminal elements in the first fortnight of May, utilizing modern technology and all available resources. The district police achieved significant successes during the ongoing crackdown against criminals.

Major Arrests and Recoveries

A total of 286 suspects were arrested, including 32 dangerous Category A suspects involved in heinous crimes. Additionally, 128 court fugitives were brought under the control of the law. In operations against drug peddlers, police recovered 12 kg 940 grams of hashish, more than 1.5 kg of ice, 1760 liters of alcohol, and 125 liters of lard. Furthermore, 7 operating kilns for distilling alcohol were seized.

Weapons Recovery

From illegal weapons possession, police recovered 4 Kalashnikovs, 9 rifles, 3 guns, and 24 pistols. Cases have been registered against the accused.
