Sukkur Mayor: CM Complaint Cell a Model of Public Service

SUKKUR - Mayor of Sukkur and spokesperson for the Sindh government, Barrister Arsalan Islam Shaikh, stated on Monday that the Chief Minister’s House Complaint Cell has emerged as a leading example of public service, prompt redressal, and effective governance. He emphasized that practical steps are being taken to resolve citizens' issues on a priority basis.

Vision-Driven Governance

Speaking about the initiative, Barrister Shaikh said that following the people-centric vision of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the service philosophy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the Sindh government is implementing comprehensive measures to ensure swift resolution of public problems, transparency, and good governance.

Barrister Shaikh noted that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has consistently emphasized providing facilities to citizens at their doorstep and addressing every citizen’s concerns on a priority basis. The CM House Complaint Cell is the practical manifestation of this public-oriented vision, where complaints are forwarded to relevant departments immediately to ensure timely resolution.

Effective Link Between Public and Government

He added that under the leadership of the Sindh chief minister, the complaint cell has become a strong and effective link between the public and the government. Departments concerned are actively performing their duties to resolve issues related to health, education, municipal services, sanitation, drainage, water, electricity, and other basic needs to provide immediate relief to the public.

Barrister Arsalan Islam Shaikh said the Sindh government believes in service, transparency, and public trust, and that negligence or delays in addressing public issues will not be tolerated. He directed relevant officers to make the prompt redressal of citizens' complaints their top priority and to take effective measures to provide maximum facilities to the people.

Appeal to the Public

The mayor appealed to the public to make full use of the Chief Minister’s House Complaint Cell to submit their problems, complaints, and suggestions, to further strengthen a responsive and people-friendly system of governance.
