Road to Riyadh Preparatory Events

According to a recent press release on GASTAT's website, the "Road to Riyadh" showcase comprises a series of events launched by the authority to prepare for hosting the UNWDF. This forum is recognized as one of the world's leading international platforms dedicated to data and sustainable development. It brings together representatives from governments, international organizations, academia, and the private sector to discuss the future of data, its role in supporting policymaking, and measuring progress toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Global Participation and Collaboration

The forum is expected to attract participants from across the globe, providing a platform for the exchange of expertise, the sharing of international experiences and best practices, and the development of partnerships that strengthen collaboration in the fields of data and statistics. GASTAT stated that the forum reaffirms the Kingdom’s role in advancing international cooperation, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and its ongoing efforts to foster innovation and further develop the data and statistics ecosystem.
