Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held separate meetings with Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) Mian Alam Dad Lalika, Iram Hameed, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Muhammad Khan Daha, Anwar-ul-Haq, Chaudhry Shehbaz Babar, Sardar Shamsher Mazari, and Daniyal Ahmad. During the meetings, the lawmakers commended the prime minister for presenting what they described as a people-friendly federal budget for the fiscal year 2026-27. They also praised Pakistan's effective diplomatic role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
Discussions on Constituency and National Issues
Matters related to the respective constituencies of the MNAs came under discussion, while the participants also exchanged views on the overall political and national situation in the country. Federal Minister for Public Affairs Unit Rana Mubashir Iqbal and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Talha Burki were also present during the meetings.
Budget and Diplomatic Praise
The lawmakers appreciated the government's efforts in presenting a budget that addresses the needs of the people. They also highlighted Pakistan's role in regional peace and stability, acknowledging the government's diplomatic initiatives.
