A senior security official has warned that rising religious extremism and intolerance in India could trigger a major outbreak of violence, potentially resulting in a massacre on a scale surpassing that of Gaza and Palestine. The remarks were made during a high-level briefing on India-related issues attended by media influencers, according to security sources.
India's Domestic Failures and Regional Destabilization
The official described India as a 'Hindutva-ridden failed state' that pursues policies of instability across the region, particularly in Pakistan, to divert attention from its domestic challenges. He accused India of portraying itself as a regional hegemon while its society becomes increasingly divided. The concept of 'Akhand Bharat' was cited as evidence of India's expansionist ambitions.
Concerns Over Minority Rights and Press Freedom
The official claimed that India functions as a police state where freedom of expression and press freedom are under state control. He alleged that Muslims and other minority communities are forced to prove their loyalty to Hindutva ideology as a condition for survival, deepening societal divisions. 'There is a fear that the world's next biggest massacre will take place in India, which cannot be ignored. The intensity of this massacre will be even greater than that of Gaza and Palestine,' the official warned.
Situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir
The briefing also addressed Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which the official described as the world's largest military camp, with one security personnel for every seven to eight residents. He alleged that India uses Pakistan's name to suppress indigenous freedom movements and stages false flag operations to divert international attention.
Pakistan's Stability Seen as Threat by India
The official claimed that India's ideological approach views a stable, prosperous and moderate Pakistan as a threat. He stated that supporters of Hindutva consider Pakistan's stability and development to be against their interests, and that both Indian media and political circles are engaged in building narratives against Pakistan and its armed forces. According to security sources, the official also alleged that the top leadership of the banned Joint Public Action Committee is following an Indian agenda. He concluded by asserting that the state and people of Pakistan have never been intimidated by India and will not be intimidated in the future.
