Pakistan, Saudi FMs Discuss Doha Talks Progress

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Thursday. The two leaders discussed the regional situation, with particular focus on the recent round of mediation efforts in Doha.

Positive Progress in Doha Negotiations

According to a news release from the DPM’s Office, both leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive progress achieved during the latest negotiations. They voiced hope that the dialogue process would continue in the near future.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan appreciated Pakistan’s efforts and its steadfast commitment to the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). He also acknowledged Pakistan’s continued role in advancing dialogue and promoting lasting peace in the region.
