Sri Lanka Takes Major Step to Ease Travel for Pakistani Citizens
In a significant diplomatic development, Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has issued directives for the immediate removal of Pakistan from all negative visa lists. This decision came following a high-level meeting with Pakistan's Federal Interior Minister and PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, who raised concerns about the visa difficulties faced by Pakistani nationals traveling to Sri Lanka.
Prompt Action on Visa Concerns
During their meeting, Minister Naqvi highlighted the substantial challenges Pakistani citizens encounter when applying for Sri Lankan visas. President Dissanayake took prompt notice of these issues and ordered authorities to eliminate Pakistan from all negative visa categories without delay. This move is expected to provide considerable relief to Pakistani travelers, business professionals, and the broader community seeking to visit Sri Lanka for various purposes.

The Sri Lankan leader expressed sincere appreciation for Pakistan's consistent support to Sri Lanka during difficult economic and political periods.

Expanded Cooperation and Future Visits
