The dengue situation in Pakistan's capital has shown remarkable stability over recent days, with health authorities reporting minimal new infections. According to the latest update from district administration, only one new dengue patient was confirmed in the last 24 hours, maintaining the positive trend that has been observed for several consecutive days.
Detailed Breakdown of Current Situation
The single new case emerged from urban areas of Islamabad, while rural sectors continued their impressive record of zero dengue infections. This development reflects the success of the capital's comprehensive anti-dengue strategy that combines multiple approaches to combat the viral threat.
Health officials confirmed that five dengue patients are currently receiving treatment across various hospitals in the city. All patients are reported to be in stable condition and are receiving continuous medical care without interruption.

- Fogging at 772 different locations
- Spray operations at 35 residential sites
- Inspections at 22,438 spots across the city in just one day

While field teams reported no larvae detection in open areas, they identified 10 commercial hotspots where larvae were present. The administration acted immediately at all these locations, removing breeding sources and conducting follow-up checks to ensure the problem was resolved.
