In a significant move toward healthcare digitalization, Pakistan's Ministry of Health has joined forces with the Atlantic International Business Network (AIBN) to revolutionize hospital operations across the country.
Strategic Partnership for Healthcare Transformation
The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on Friday, marking a pivotal moment in Pakistan's healthcare modernization efforts. The agreement brings together government health authorities and private sector expertise to address operational challenges in public hospitals.
The Secretary of Health and the Executive Director of PIMS represented the ministry during the signing ceremony, while AIBN officials participated on behalf of the business network. This partnership underscores the government's commitment to leveraging technology for improved healthcare delivery.
Comprehensive Management System Details
AIBN, identified as a Pakistan-based company, will provide an extensive Management Information System (MIS) featuring 11 specialized modules at no cost to the government. The system is designed to address multiple aspects of hospital management through its comprehensive module structure.
Implementation is scheduled for completion within a tight timeframe of six weeks to two months, demonstrating the urgency both parties place on rapid deployment. The accelerated timeline reflects the pressing need for digital solutions in Pakistan's healthcare infrastructure.
Integration with National Health Framework
Health Minister Mustafa Kamal emphasized that the new system will be fully synchronized with the national "One Patient - One ID" framework, creating a unified digital health ecosystem. This integration will enable seamless patient tracking and data management across healthcare facilities.
A special monitoring dashboard will be established at the ministry headquarters, allowing real-time oversight of hospital operations and patient flow.
