In a significant move to safeguard public health, the Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) joined forces with the Sukkur Divisional Administration to host a crucial awareness program. SHCC's Seven-Year Crackdown: The Numbers Revealed

Dr. Ahsan Qavi Siddiqui, the Chief Executive Officer of the SHCC, presented a detailed briefing on the commission's relentless efforts. He revealed staggering statistics from the ongoing campaign against illegal healthcare facilities.

From 2018 to 2025, the SHCC has sealed a total of 12,048 illegal clinics, hospitals, and quack centers operating without proper licenses or qualified staff. Furthermore, the regulatory body issued formal warnings to 8,399 other establishments found to be operating in violation of standards, giving them an opportunity to rectify their practices or face closure.
