Hyderabad Family Demands Justice After Son's Dengue Death
Family Protests Medical Negligence in Hyderabad

The family of medical student Hasnain Zardari, who tragically passed away from dengue fever 23 days ago, staged a powerful protest outside the Hyderabad Press Club on Tuesday. The demonstration targeted what relatives describe as criminal negligence by doctors at Civil Hospital Hyderabad that led to their son's untimely death.

Family Demands Immediate Action Against Accused Doctors

Relatives and supporting lawyers raised passionate slogans demanding justice for the young student. Hasnain's father, Advocate Amir Lutfi Zardari, spoke to gathered media representatives with visible emotion. He demanded the immediate suspension and arrest of all doctors named in the murder case filed regarding his son's death.

Advocate Zardari expressed deep frustration with the health department's handling of the situation. "In most serious misconduct cases, officials are first suspended pending transparent investigations," he stated. "Instead, in our son's case, the inquiry report is being prepared by the very doctors named as suspects."

Controversial Transfer and Postmortem Request

The grieving father highlighted another concerning development. Dr Ali Akbar Dahri, identified as a key accused, has been transferred from his position as Medical Superintendent. The family believes this move effectively enables him to evade proper accountability for his alleged role in the medical negligence.

In a significant development, the Health Care Commission has formally requested the District and Sessions Judge to exhume Hasnain's body for a postmortem examination. The Zardari family has expressed their full support for this procedure, hoping it will provide crucial evidence about the circumstances surrounding their son's death from dengue fever.

Ongoing Investigation and Family's Final Demands

The family maintains that justice cannot be served while the accused doctors continue working at Civil Hospital Hyderabad. They have issued a clear ultimatum: all doctors named in the case must be suspended immediately until the investigation concludes.

This tragic case has highlighted ongoing concerns about medical accountability and patient safety in Hyderabad's healthcare system. As the investigation continues, the Zardari family vows to continue their fight for justice, determined to ensure their son's death leads to meaningful reforms in hospital procedures and doctor accountability.
