The wedding took place in a cordoned-off section of the arena, transformed into a garden despite the venue's typical use for basketball games, hockey matches, and concerts. George Stephanopoulos, anchor of ABC's Good Morning America, described the setting as "as intimate as it could possibly be given that it was Madison Square Garden" and called it a "garden inside the Garden." He added, "It's hard to imagine that a place that big and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal and so intimate."
Celebrity Guests and Performances
The guest list included more than 1,000 people, with A-list celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Paul McCartney, Gracie Abrams, Jason Sudeikis, and Hugh Grant. Former Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks, a friend of Swift, performed at the wedding. Robin Roberts, co-anchor of Good Morning America, confirmed that the couple wrote their own vows and said the wedding had many personalized touches, including neighbors and high school friends in attendance. Aron mentioned he had been in "Taylor Swift's orbit" since AMC released the singer's Eras Tour concert film in 2023.
