Jabari Stephan Brown, widely recognized online as Captain Treezy, has garnered international attention following his arrest in Paraguay. The detention occurred as part of an investigation into a marijuana shipment allegedly transported aboard a private aircraft arriving from Miami. According to reports, Brown was taken into custody in Asunción on May 31 after authorities seized 261.6 kilograms of high-THC marijuana at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport. Officials estimate the confiscated drugs had a potential street value of approximately $3.6 million.
Rise to Fame Through MrBeast Challenge
Brown is known to many internet users for his appearance in MrBeast's viral challenge video, “100 Pilots Fight For A Private Jet.” In this competition, he outlasted 99 other contestants to win a Hawker 400XP executive jet. The contest significantly elevated his online profile, introducing him to a broader audience beyond the aviation community. Paraguayan authorities have not indicated whether the aircraft involved in the investigation was the same jet Brown won through the MrBeast challenge.
