Zeyne Surprises Fans with Summer Shows Before European Tour

Palestinian Jordanian singer-songwriter Zeyne has surprised fans by announcing a series of intimate summer performances ahead of her previously announced European tour, giving audiences another chance to see the rising regional star live before she hits the stage in September.

Additional Summer Dates Revealed

The singer revealed the additional dates on social media, describing the concerts as a special run of shows before embarking on her biggest international tour to date. She is due to perform at the Jazzablanca Festival in Casablanca on July 7 and on July 15 she heads to Montreux in Switzerland to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Zeyne also hits the stage at the Gurtenfestival in Bern on July 17 before she performs at the Mahrajan Festival in London on Aug. 1 and the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen on Aug. 21.

Growing International Profile

Momentum continues to build around Zeyne's growing international profile. Blending alternative pop, R&B and Arabic influences, the singer has earned a devoted following for music that explores themes of identity, belonging and self-discovery. Later this year, Zeyne will embark on her first European headline tour, with performances scheduled across several cities beginning in September.

The tour marks another milestone in her rapidly expanding career and follows a string of successful releases that have introduced her music to audiences well beyond the Middle East.

Heritage and Identity in Music

Speaking previously to Hia magazine, Zeyne reflected on the significance of paying tribute to her heritage in her music. She said: “My team and I are careful to treat heritage with respect, not as something we stick on from the outside. When dabke (folk dance) — or any traditional element — shows up in my work, it’s because it’s part of my story.”

She also commented on opening for British artist Ed Sheeran at his show in Qatar in 2025. She said: “Performing in front of more than 65,000 people as an Arab artist, singing in my own language and staying true to my identity, was incredibly powerful. What struck me most was Ed Sheeran's ability to connect with his audience on a personal level, no matter how large the crowd. That’s a lesson I try to bring to every performance.”
