Turkish actress Ece Irtem, best known for playing Isil in the popular TV drama One Love, has died at the age of 35 after a suspected heart attack, her lawyer confirmed. She was found unresponsive at her home on Monday afternoon, a day after celebrating her 35th birthday.

Medical Emergency at Home

According to her lawyer, Irtem was at home with her mother when she suddenly fell ill. “Initial medical assessments suggest the cause of death was a heart attack,” he stated. An investigation is ongoing, and the final autopsy report will determine the definitive cause. The lawyer also dismissed social media rumors of suicide, saying such claims have been ruled out.

Born on June 14, 1991, in Sivas, Irtem graduated from Yaşar University’s Opera and Vocal Performance Department in 2014. She later studied acting at Istanbul’s Sadri Alışık Cultural Centre. Her breakout role as Isil in One Love earned her widespread recognition and established her as a rising star in Turkish television.
