Governor Kundi Mourns Loss of Senior Journalist and Former MNA
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi expressed profound grief on Saturday over the demise of senior journalist Tariq Mateen and former Member of the National Assembly Fauzia Habib. In separate condolence messages, the Governor prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, forgiveness, and elevated ranks in Jannat. He also extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for their strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss.
Journalist Tariq Mateen Succumbs to Cardiac Arrest
Expressing grief over the death of senior journalist Tariq Mateen due to cardiac arrest, Governor Kundi said he was a talented, hardworking and responsible journalist who rendered valuable services to the profession. He stated that the journalistic community had lost a sincere and dedicated professional, adding that his services would be remembered for a long time.
The Governor prayed that Almighty Allah grant both the departed souls eternal peace, forgive their shortcomings, and bless their families with patience and fortitude during this difficult time.
Information Minister Shafi Jan Also Expresses Grief
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of senior journalist Tariq Mateen. In a condolence statement issued here, Shafi Jan said that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Tariq Mateen’s passing. He praised the deceased as a talented and dedicated professional journalist who rendered invaluable services to the field of journalism, adding that his professional contributions will always be remembered with high regard.
The provincial information minister extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family. He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul a high place in paradise, bless him with forgiveness, and grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
