Zara Larsson has signed with RCA Records, ending her long-standing relationship with Epic Records after more than a decade. The Swedish singer joined RCA Records after spending over 10 years with Epic, where she signed in 2013 before achieving international success with her 2017 album So Good.
Interest from Multiple Labels
According to Variety, Larsson received interest from several record labels before Sony Music, which owns both Epic Records and RCA Records, arranged for her to remain within the company's roster by moving her to RCA. Larsson remained with Epic Records throughout the release of her subsequent studio albums, including her latest record, Midnight Sun, which has helped strengthen her commercial success.
Success of Midnight Sun
Her songs from Midnight Sun have gained significant attention, while previous hits including "Lush Life" and her collaboration with PinkPantheress, "Stateside", have continued to attract audiences online. The success of the album also led Larsson to release the remix project Midnight Sun: Girls Trip in May.
Midnight Sun Tour
Her current Midnight Sun Tour has also continued to expand, with several Australian venues upgraded to accommodate demand. The tour began in October 2025 and is scheduled to continue through November 2026.
New Chapter
The label move marks a new chapter in Larsson's career after spending much of her international rise with Epic Records, where she established herself as one of pop music's most recognisable artists. Larsson also made headlines last year when she addressed comparisons with fellow pop singer Tate McRae and spoke publicly about meeting her boyfriend. The reported move keeps the singer within the Sony Music group while placing her under a different label for the next stage of her career.
