Nadeem elaborated that the bazaar established its current form around 1980, though Resham Gali itself predates this period significantly. He emphasized the exceptional quality of Hyderabad's bangles, noting their renowned durability and vibrant, fade-resistant colors. "These bangles are manufactured using specialized techniques that ensure the colors remain brilliant even after years of wear," he stated proudly.
The market operates as a crucial hub within a broader manufacturing and distribution network. "This represents a major wholesale center for bangles," Nadeem continued. "Goods flow from production factories to wholesalers and ultimately to the retail shops lining these lanes."

Another seasoned trader, Muhammad Shahid, who specializes in traditional khussas, has operated in Resham Gali since 1988. He described the market as one of Hyderabad's most celebrated shopping destinations. "This is an exceptionally well-known bazaar where customers can find virtually anything they require," Shahid remarked. "Shoppers visit daily, confident they will locate their desired items."
According to Shahid, the market maintains particular renown for bangles and traditional attire. "Hyderabadi bangles enjoy tremendous fame here," he said. "Shoppers also discover exquisite embroidered garments and various other traditional products."
Like numerous traditional markets across Pakistan, Resham Gali experiences intensified activity during Ramadan. Shahid observed that the rush escalates substantially as families prepare for Eid celebrations. "During Ramadan, this bazaar becomes extraordinarily crowded," he noted. "Women arrive in large numbers since it is widely regarded as a premier ladies' shopping market where they can procure everything needed for the festivities."
