The Sindhi Language Authority (SLA) organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony in Hyderabad to honor Amin Muhammad Laghari, its Deputy Director, marking the end of his dedicated tenure. Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority, Dr. Ishaq Samejo, highlighted Laghari's integral role. He noted that Amin Muhammad Laghari was one of the early officials of the institution and had been familiar to him for a long time. Dr. Samejo emphasized that after he assumed the role of chairman, Laghari executed his responsibilities with utmost honesty and integrity.

"His positive role was also with the employees of the institution," Dr. Samejo stated, explaining that this consistent conduct was the reason Laghari received such high honor and respect at his farewell.

Colleagues Reflect on a Fruitful Partnership

Dr. Raz Shahani, the Secretary of the institution, also shared his thoughts. He mentioned that although his time working directly with Laghari was short, he observed that Amin Laghari handled the responsibilities of the institution in a better way.

Dr. Shahani reflected on the institution's history, recalling that Dr. Nabi Bakhsh Khan was the first chairman of the Baloch Institute, a precursor or related body, and that many scholars followed. He expressed gratitude for the learning opportunities and the trust bestowed upon him by the institution and its colleagues, stating, "The relationship with the institution will last for life."

The farewell ceremony was marked by traditional gestures of appreciation and respect. The officials and employees of the Sindhi Language Authority presented bouquets to Amin Mohammad Laghari and sprinkled flowers as a symbolic and affectionate send-off.
