Minister Zulfiqar Shah Opens Ghamnak Hussaini Festival

HYDERABAD: Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah inaugurated the two-day Ghamnak Hussaini Literary Festival at the Sindh Museum. The opening ceremony was attended by Commissioner Hyderabad Fayyaz Abbasi, former federal minister Madad Ali Sindhi, and numerous writers and intellectuals. Sufi artists paid tribute to the renowned Sufi poet Syed Ghulam Rasool Shah Ghamnak Hussaini with soulful Sufi poems.

Minister's Address

Addressing the ceremony, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah stated that the traditions of Syed Ghulam Rasool Shah Ghamnak Hussaini have been conveyed to the public through his family. He emphasized that the message of love and unity that Ghamnak Hussaini spread through his poetry is being transmitted to today's youth. The minister highlighted that Sufi poets and elders have propagated peace and love for the land of Sindh.

Poetry as a Beacon of Peace

Shah noted that the poetry and teachings of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA) serve as a practical example for society. He described the words and poetry of Ghamnak Hussaini as a message of peace for everyone. The festival aims to promote the rich cultural heritage of Sindh and the universal values of love and harmony.
