Gold prices in the domestic market experienced a substantial increase on Monday, with the per tola rate climbing by Rs4,643 to reach Rs442,636, compared to Rs437,993 on the previous trading day, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also rose by Rs4,179 to Rs378,345 from Rs374,166. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased by Rs3,793 to Rs347,083 from Rs343,290.
In the international market, the price of gold surged by $46.43 to $4,202.00 per ounce, up from $4,155.57, according to the association.
Silver Prices Also Rise
Silver prices also registered a sharp increase in the domestic market. Per tola silver rose by Rs189 to Rs7,151 from Rs6,962, while the rate of 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs170 to Rs6,079 from Rs5,909.
In the international market, silver prices increased by $1.886 to $66.714 from $64.828, as per the association.
