FESCO task force teams in Sargodha detected 17 electricity theft cases on Saturday as part of the ongoing anti-power theft campaign, according to official data. The accused consumers were charged 25,553 detection units amounting to Rs 666,016, and legal proceedings have been initiated against them.

Authorities referred all 17 cases for registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) against the accused. The operation was conducted by FESCO task force teams across the district, targeting illegal connections and meter tampering.
