KSrelief Expands Aid Operations Across Four Nations
The Saudi aid agency, King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief), has intensified its humanitarian efforts in Somalia, Chad, Syria, and Yemen, delivering critical services to vulnerable populations including internally displaced persons and conflict-affected communities.
Blood Bank Services in Somalia
In Mogadishu, Somalia, KSrelief continues to operate the National Blood Bank project. During the past month, the blood bank provided services to 229 beneficiaries, comprising both internally displaced persons and local residents, ensuring access to life-saving blood transfusion and related medical care.
Personal Care Kits in Chad
In Chad's Hadjer-Lamis region, KSrelief distributed 200 personal care kits to the most vulnerable families, benefiting approximately 600 individuals. The kits contain essential hygiene and personal care items to improve living conditions in the region.
Food Security Support in Syria
In Syria, KSrelief distributed 750 food baskets to vulnerable families in Idlib governorate and an additional 1,464 food baskets in Homs governorate. These distributions aim to alleviate food insecurity among communities affected by the prolonged conflict.
Prosthetics and Rehabilitation in Yemen
At a KSrelief-backed prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Taiz governorate, Yemen, medical teams provided 1,579 services to 576 beneficiaries who had lost limbs. Services included the manufacture and fitting of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations, helping amputees regain mobility and independence.

Since its inception in 2015, KSrelief has implemented 4,404 projects across 113 countries, with total spending exceeding $8.5 billion. The agency's focus areas include food security, health, education, water and sanitation, shelter, and early recovery initiatives, reflecting Saudi Arabia's commitment to global humanitarian aid.
