An 18-year-old youth died after accidentally shooting himself while cleaning a pistol at his home in the Dijkot area. According to police, Muhammad Saqlain, a resident of Chak No. 87-JB, was cleaning his pistol in a room of his house when the weapon accidentally discharged due to a bullet already present in the chamber. The bullet struck him in the head, leaving him critically injured.
Medical Response and Death
He was provided initial medical treatment at a local facility and later shifted to Civil Hospital Faisalabad, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
