Mayor Announces Urban Landscape Maintenance Projects Since 2022
Mayor of Asir region, Abdullah Al-Jali, said the municipality began implementing urban landscape maintenance projects in 2022. The initiatives include upgrades to roads, sidewalks, street lighting, public facilities, and human-centered elements, creating safer and more vibrant public spaces while enhancing the appeal of tourist and commercial destinations.
Humanization Projects as Economic Tools
Al-Jali said the humanization projects have evolved beyond aesthetic enhancements to become an effective tool for supporting the local economy and stimulating commercial activity. He added that they improve the efficiency of public spaces and enrich the user experience in urban areas and tourist destinations.
