The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested six suspects and recovered 43.5 kilograms of hashish, valued at over Rs 3.2 million, during three separate operations across the country. According to an ANF spokesperson, the first operation was an inter-provincial drug interdiction near the Islamabad Toll Plaza, where 18 kg of hashish was seized from a vehicle and four suspects were taken into custody.
Operations in Rawalpindi and Mansehra
In a second operation conducted near a hospital on GT Road in Rawalpindi, ANF personnel recovered 8.7 kg of hashish from a rickshaw and apprehended two suspects. Meanwhile, during a third operation near a college in Mansehra, the force seized 16.8 kg of hashish from a vehicle. The spokesperson confirmed that cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigations are ongoing.
