Screenplay by Oscar-Nominated Writer Zach Baylin
The screenplay is being written by Zach Baylin, whose recent work includes co-creating Netflix's Black Rabbit. Baylin also co-wrote The Order and received an Academy Award nomination for King Richard. His involvement adds considerable prestige to the untitled feature, which remains in the early stages of development.

Speaking during the announcement, Riff Raff Entertainment executive Ben Jackson offered a brief glimpse into the story. He described it as following a getaway driver attempting to get from one destination to another while facing numerous obstacles along the way. Although detailed plot information has not yet been released, the premise suggests a character-driven thriller rather than a conventional high-speed action spectacle.
Katie Sinclair, also representing Riff Raff Entertainment, explained why the project stood out for both the company and Law. She said the film presents an opportunity for the actor to explore a style of action he has not previously tackled during his career. According to Sinclair, the production aims to combine large-scale action with a strong emotional core, ensuring the central character remains at the heart of the story.

Sinclair noted that casting Law helps distinguish the film from similar entries in the genre.
