New Recruitment System and Budget Allocations for PSL 11
Under the revised rules for PSL 11, each franchise has been allotted a total budget of PKR 450 million, with an additional PKR 55 million reserved specifically for direct signings. This financial framework allows teams to strategically invest in key players before the auction process begins. The season represents a major shift in the league's history, as the traditional draft system has been replaced by an auction format for the first time, introducing a new dynamic to player recruitment and team building.
The early signings of Moeen Ali and Devon Conway highlight the growing appeal and competitive nature of the Pakistan Super League. Franchises are investing heavily in international stars to strengthen their squads ahead of what is set to be a landmark PSL 11 season. These moves not only enhance the quality of cricket on display but also reflect the league's increasing stature in the global T20 landscape, attracting top-tier talent from around the world.
