LAHORE - The National Women’s Hockey Championship is scheduled to take place in Islamabad next month, as announced by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).
Teams and Participation
According to a PHF press release, teams from Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, and other regions will compete in the national event.
Objectives and Benefits
The PHF stated that the championship aims to encourage young women athletes, provide professional training opportunities, and offer valuable competitive exposure at the national level. Officials emphasized that the initiative is designed to create a clear pathway for players to progress toward representing Pakistan internationally.
