In a targeted crackdown on narcotics, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Karachi police has apprehended two suspected drug dealers from the city's Jamshed Quarters area. The operation, conducted on Friday, led to the recovery of a significant quantity of the dangerous synthetic drug commonly known as ice.

According to the senior superintendent of police (SSP) heading the SIU, Dr Muhammad Imran Khan, the suspects have been identified as Zakir and Arbaz. Acting on intelligence, the police team conducted a raid which resulted in their capture. During the arrest, law enforcement officials successfully confiscated one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine (ice) from the possession of the accused individuals.
