An official confirmed to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) on Saturday that the formal notification for these promotions has now been officially released. This action was carried out under the direct orders of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
The official further highlighted that this is not an isolated event. Just a few days prior, more than 300 officers across various ranks were also promoted.
